Xiaomi launched AI features with latest HyperOS upgrade in devices with Android 14. There are many features which supports as AI in different system apps. But Xiaomi has provided only some of them in global markets. Here I am going to show you which AI features are available, first look of them and how we can install them in our Xiaomi devices. HyperOS – AI features
AI features are available in 2 system apps of Xiaomi; named Gallery and Security app. It includes 3 AI features which convert our devices into premium and helps us giving easy way to complete the tasks. These features are available in all devices in China but in global it has only in some devices. So, lets check all features one by one and how to use them.
AI Gallery
Gallery AI features are available in Xiaomi devices which edits the photos so speedily like removing background and adding the custom background in just one click. Its very easy to use, we can edit the pics like this in any device. But remember this AI works only for human pics, even we can copy text from images in one click.
Steps to apply:-
- Hold an image
- White lining shows as animations
- There are some options like Copy, save, send and change background.
- By tapping on copy, image will be copied in clipboard, by save it will be saved and by send you can send image to social media platforms without saving.
- By changing background, you can select some default backgrounds and choose your custom background too.
AI Game Turbo
HyperOS provides performance mode and balanced mode with AI which improves the gaming mode in our Xiaomi devices. We can easily enable them in our devices but it is only available in China ROM, and it will not be added in Global ROMs. If you want to use this epic change so I suggest you to flash China ROM in your devices.
Balanced mode is default in Global ROM but performance mode is a new mode which added recently with the support of AI. But in balanced mode they enabled AI too, and there is no option to disable the AI. HyperOS updated security app provides more stability and improvements.
AI Video Toolbox
AI video toolbox also comes under Security app like Game Turbo comes. We can enable video toolbox by Settings < Additional Settings < Floating windows < Sidebar < Video apps. After enabled it, open video toolbox in the app, after opened you will see some epic changes in the new toolbox.
There are 2 options; named Custom and Theater. It improves the sound and video quality with Dolby Atmos, 3D LUT video, Immersive sound and more. But these options are not available in any ROM expect stock China ROM.
