HyperOS Updates fail to reach in 5 Xiaomi devices

HyperOS updates are becoming famous day by day, but still HyperOS for China is much better than the Global. Here I will show you which mid range devices they will not provide the latest upgrade. HyperOS is based on Android 13 as well as on Android 14, but they will not provide this upgrade to some mid range devices on Android 13 also. Lets check the devices list and what is the reason of not providing this upgrade.

No HyperOS updates

HyperOS is a new upgrade and a new starting as builds have started from OS1.0.*.0, last upgrade was MIUI 14 and after MIUI 14 they launched new upgrade called HyperOS which is based on Android 13 and Android 14. This upgrade is not coming for some devices which should get them sure. Lets check the devices name and what is the reason of not getting this upgrade.

HyperOS updates – Redmi Note 10 Series

This series includes many models, but there are total 4 devices which have MIUI 14 Android 13 update now. So lets check why HyperOS updates will not come in these devices.

Redmi Note 10 Pro / Pro Max

Redmi Note 10 Pro / Pro Max has MIUI 13 latest on Android 12 in India region in V13.0.10.0.SKFINXM build, but for other regions MIUI 14 on Android 13 is going on. Later they had launched new device which is a rebranded of this model named Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G. Codename of Redmi Note 10 Pro is sweet and of rebranded device is sweet_k6a.

HyperOS is already rolled out for sweet_k6a and due to this Xiaomi has decided that they will not provide HyperOS to Redmi Note 10 Pro / Pro Max. In India region, due to camera dead issues they have not provided MIUI 14 so don’t think of HyperOS too.

Redmi Note 10S

Redmi Note 10S has MIUI 14 on Android 13 in all regions but still they have not started the beta testing and internal testing of HyperOS which shows Xiaomi will not provide this upgrade. Xiaomi had launched the Poco M5s with MIUI 13 Android 12 out of the box and now it is running on MIUI 14 Android 13. Xiaomi has started testing of HyperOS on Android 13 in Poco M5s but later they can start on Android 14 too.

Redmi Note 10 5G / 10T 5G / Poco M3 Pro 5G

These devices are same, Xiaomi just rebranded and launched in different regions. Xiaomi had said that they will not provide the HyperOS updates to Redmi Note 10 Series, and this model also comes in that. Even internal and beta testing also not started. So, forget the HyperOS update for this model too.

This device is facing so many issues in multiple regions as MIUI 14 also not rolled out for all region which shows this model will also not get the latest HyperOS update which is a bad news for the users. As latest builds are of MIUI 13 as well as of MIUI 14 for this device in all regions.
