Poco F5 – Install real HyperOS stable update now

Poco F5 users have got the latest HyperOS update in all regions expect China, but users were waiting for this update in China region. As main region provides multiple changes with unseen features. China and Global ROM are totally different, users have used the HyperOS globally but now they can use China HyperOS too as stable update is rolled out for the beta testers. In this article I am going to show you the all details of this update, so lets check one by one.

Poco F5 – HyperOS OS1.0.2.0.UMRCNXM update

Poco F5 is available as Redmi Note 12 Turbo which has started receiving the latest HyperOS update on Android 14 with multiple changes, as these changes are not available in other regional ROMs. Now lets check the full changelog of this update which comes with January 2024 security patch, here I will show you the update size and how we can install this update in our devices. So, lets check the full details now.

Size of the update is 5.5GB as you can see in the above screenshots, now lets check the full changelog now of this major upgrade now.

Installation

As we know, HyperOS latest update are already available in all regions and now China region has also received this upgrade. So, how can we install it in our devices? You don’t need of laptop to flash this stable version. If you are using Global versions, so first do factory reset of your device. Because if you want to switch to China ROM by rename trick 2.0 so you need to reset first. But if you are using MIUI China so don’t need of the reset. So lets check how we have to flash the latest China HyperOS.

Steps to apply rename trick 2.0:

• Download your current ROM, all Recovery ROMs are available in my Telegram Channel, as you will see the latest ROMs at my channel first. Global HyperOS | India HyperOS | EEA HyperOS | Taiwan HyperOS | Turkey HyperOS | Russia HyperOS.
• After downloading your current Recovery ROM, download China HyperOS ROM.
• Save both ROMs in Internal Storage, remember you don’t have to put them in any folder.
• Rename your current ROM to A.zip, and new ROM which you have to flash, rename to B.zip.
• Open Settings < About Phone < Updater, click on MIUI / HyperOS logo several times to enable additional features. Tap on 3 dots, go to choose update package.
• Select A.zip, and at the same time you have to rename A.zip to C.zip, and B.zip to A.zip.
• Wait for the popup in the updater.
• Popup arrive, then you will see it will say to update to your current version, but in reality it will be updated to new ROM.
• So, click on update to start the flashing.

Note: Unlock bootloader first before going to China HyperOS, as you can’t come back to Global by this rename trick. But if you want to go on China ROM permanent, so flash without unlocking the bootloader
