Xiaomi HyperOS started beta testing of Gallery AI features in China and its started in 2023 end and recently they have finished the testing and rolled out the all AI features to all users. So lets check them out what are the features, how to use them and when they will arrive in Global and India region, as total 3 AI features are available in Xiaomi devices with the official Mi Gallery application.
HyperOS Gallery AI
HyperOS AI features are now available in main region; AI Portrait, AI Expansion and Erase Pro 2.0, these all features are officially rolled out for all users. We can easily enable these changes in any Xiaomi devices if you are using China ROM, and for Global ROM these same features will come in Quarter 2.
AI Editor
HyperOS Gallery AI Editor update size is 827MB which is a huge size and it enables the all AI features are released with these changes, and you can install by editing any pic and tap on 3 dots and select Manage Plug-ins to install the AI features.
1. AI Expansion
Gallery AI expansion allows you to make incomplete photos, like from your photo your hand missing so it can make your hand and looks 100% realistic. Even it can make custom photos too of any background & more.
2. AI Portrait
HyperOS has launched AI Portrait too which needs minimum 25 photos to convert to that. It is also the best feature from these 3. This tab is available in Recommended section in the Gallery app.
These type of features are on another level, as you can see in the below that which photos you have to select; Upload face or half body shots of the same person. As it doesn’t allow you to upload the pics of any thing, you have to select only body shots.
3. Erase Pro 2.0
Erase Pro 2.0 is similar to normal one but it comes with advanced editing, like you select any part so it will not go to another one. We can remove objects, people and more. This works very fast and speed of the processing is amazing.
As on the top right side, you will see Pro option which allows you to use Erase Pro 2.0; Manually, Remove objects, Remove lines and Remove people all options are same but it works different than normal one. It is more advanced and amazing which edit the pics more fast.
